제목: Audio-visual Interaction in Multiple Stages of Perceptual Processing
초록: Over the past years, my colleagues and I have investigated how information in different sensory modalities interacts. In particular, we have been interested in how visual experience and awareness are influenced by accompanied sensory information in another modality, sound, for instance. In this talk, I'm going to share some of our research outcomes stemmed from the interest. Audiovisual interactions in multiple stages of perceptual processing will be discussed, which ranges from the impact of the low-level bisensory integration on motion aftereffect, the ventriloquist effect due to bisensory interaction in spatial localization, to intrinsic semantic correspondences between audiovisual features. Results based on psychophysics, eyetracking, and fMRI will be presented.
